Alternative energies: Sustainable into the future

The energy transition is already a reality. Fossil fuels are finite, costs are rising, and climate protection is becoming increasingly important. Alternative energies offer the opportunity to conserve resources, reduce emissions, and lower costs in the long term. But how can they be used effectively?

Why focus on alternative energies?

Independence from fossil fuels
Renewable energies such as solar, wind and biomass make you less dependent on fluctuating energy prices.

Climate protection and sustainability

Reduce your CO₂ footprint and make an active contribution to environmental protection.

Economy

Economic efficiency: Modern systems often pay for themselves faster than expected through savings and subsidy programs.

Independence from fossil fuels

Fuels: Renewable energies such as solar, wind and biomass make you less dependent on fluctuating energy prices.

Energy Performance Certificate: Transparency for your property

  • The energy performance certificate shows at a glance how efficiently a building uses energy and where there is potential for savings. It answers questions such as: How much energy does a building consume?

Where are the potential savings? This provides a clear basis for decisions and investments. The energy performance certificate is more than just a mandatory document; it helps homeowners use their property economically and reduce energy costs in the long term.

  • The energy performance certificate is legally required and mandatory when selling, renting, leasing, or constructing a property. The legislator has set clear deadlines: July 2008 for residential buildings built before 1965 and January 2009 for newer residential buildings.

This creates greater comparability, potential savings, and predictability. A fundamental goal of the Building Energy Act (GEG).

  • We prepare both energy performance certificates based on calculated energy demand and those based on actual energy consumption for residential and non-residential buildings. Both contain important information about the energy efficiency of a building.

The energy performance certificate based on actual energy consumption is used, while the energy performance certificate based on calculated energy demand assesses the theoretical energy demand based on the building structure. Both types provide clear indications of a building's energy efficiency and where improvements are possible.

  • A professional energy performance certificate creates transparency for buyers, tenants, and owners. It enables an objective assessment of energy costs and contributes to increasing the property's value, as a good energy rating enhances a property's attractiveness.

In addition, we offer advice on energy efficiency and a funding check for energy-efficient renovations, so that you can identify potential savings, reduce operating costs and conserve resources.
